Opening in 2016, Abu elZulof was the first of its kind in the old city . The idea was to change the concept of regular clubbing and introduce a place that is a mixture of a bar, a restaurant and a club all in a traditional Damascene location while playing carefully chosen music from all eras and across all genres.

Its unique outdoor/indoor space, surrounded by aging olive trees, covered by the incredible lights made Abu elZulof a must-visit destination to locals and tourists and gave its visitors a fairy tale-like experience that is definitely worth repeating over and over.

It is safe to say that the music that we play is like no other. Every track played by our DJs, old or new, is carefully chosen to spark a beautiful feeling inside you and bring back beautiful old memories and make similar new ones.
Even with live performances, the most known local bands and talents nowadays, like Takat, did their very first Damascus gigs at Abu elZulof.
